Real Madrid report Inter Milan over illegal approach of Luka Modric.
The midfielder who was recently named player of the tournament at the 2018 World Cup had been linked with a move to Serie A.
Real President Fiorentino Perez said that Modric will only leave if a bid was made that met his 750 Million Euro (£671m) release clause.
Inter told BBC Sport that Real’s complaint is “based on circumstantial evidence”.
FIFA have opened an investigation on the matter which is at a preliminary stage. Meanwhile Inter suggest they have never had direct contact with the player.
The transfer window closed in Italy yesterday evening and any possible deal wont be possible now until January.
