Vieira’s job as Manager had been made a lot more difficult after losing a number of key players this summer, including Jean Michael Seri leaving for Fulham and Alassane Plea, who has moved to Borussia Monchengladbach.

The Riviera club will continue their domestic campaign with a trip to Caen on 18 August, where Vieria will be loooking for his first official victory as Manager.
