Courtois spent six seasons at Chelsea, three of which he was playing at Stamford Bridge as their number one goalkeeper. During this period the Belgium international won two Premier League titles, an F.A Cup and a League Cup. It’s fair to say he was a successful goalkeeper during his time at west London.

Courtois spent six seasons at Chelsea following his move for Belgian side Genk in 2011. Having spent his first 3 years out on loan at Atletico Madrid, Courtois returned to the club in 2014 to become their new No 1. During his time at the club he helped guide Chelsea to win two Premier League titles, the F.A Cup and a League Cup.

In the past couple of months Courtois future at the club has been in doubt, and its fair to say most Chelsea fans have not been to happy with his attitude either. Having failed to turn up to pre season training this week, its seemed a lot likelier that he would be heading for the exit door. Following speculation, it was announced last night that he had agreed to join Real Madrid.

Following his move Courtois did what most players do after leaving a club, he took to Social media to post a farewell message.

This post however has been deleted following a backlash from Chelsea fans, they were certainly not happy with the way he has behaved in recent month.

Courtois certainly wont be welcome back to Stamford Bridge anytime soon.
