With 230 Manchester United goals and only 19 behind the all time record of Sir Bobby Charlton, Wayne Rooney is certain to become Manchester United’s all time top scorer.

The 29 year old has been at United since 2004, and has lived up to his early expectation from his Everton days.

However , Rooney may only have a few more years at the very top, and Louis Van Gaal is already preparing a bid for his replacement, and thats no other than the England and Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

According to The Sun, Manchester United have made direct contact with Tottenham over signing striker Harry Kane, 21, for £40m as a long-term replacement for the Manchester United and England captain.

Is Harry Kane good enough to replace Wayne Rooney? If he proves that last season wasn’t a one off, then i’m sure he will have a great career wherever he plays!
